The badge cannot do this for you. It is HTML inside your page, and a page cannot change its own site's robots.txt. These three are things you add once, and together they tell 28 known AI crawlers not to take your work.
They are requests, not locks. Compliant crawlers honour them. Anyone acting in bad faith ignores them, and nothing here stops a person copying your page by hand.

<meta name="tdm-reservation" content="1">tdm-reservation is the machine-readable reservation of rights under Article 4 of the EU copyright directive. It is the one signal here with statutory footing in the EU.

What “protected” means here
It means your work has a permanent, verifiable record of who made it and when. That record is what the seal points to.
It does not stop anyone copying, downloading, screenshotting, editing, re-uploading, cloning or training a model on your work. No badge can do that, and this one does not claim to.
We also do not scan the internet for misuse, send takedown notices, or pursue anyone on your behalf. A TIP record is evidence you can point to. Acting on it is yours to do, and registering here is not a copyright registration and does not replace one.

Using the mark
- Keep the wording, the seal and the link together. They only mean something as a set.
- Do not alter the seal artwork, recolour it, or place it on a background that makes it hard to read.
- Display it only if you actually register your work. Anyone can copy this code, so the badge is your statement, not our certification of your site, and we can ask for it to be removed.
