The Manifesto
#HumanOrAI is The AI Lab's hashtag. We started it because the answer to that question deserves to be a verifiable signature, not a guess.
The internet is filling with content that nobody can confidently attribute. Articles, images, videos, podcasts, and posts increasingly arrive without a clear answer to a basic question: was this made by a human, made with AI assistance, or generated by AI? The AI Lab created TIP Protocol, the open standard for verified human identity and content provenance, to give the public a way to know. #HumanOrAI is the public-facing rallying call for that work.
Use the hashtag whenever you want to declare the origin of a piece of content. Pair it with the companion tags below for the framing that fits. Pair it with a TIP signature to make the declaration cryptographic. The combination of the hashtag (what you say) and the TIP-ID (what you can prove) is how we move from a trust-by-claim internet to a trust-by-verification internet.
The AI Lab Intelligence Unobscured, Inc. is the originator and steward of the #HumanOrAI campaign. The AI Lab is also the publisher of TIP Protocol, the convener of the AI Trust Council, and the issuer of the Global Seal of Trust. The hashtag is open for anyone to use. We ask only that uses preserve its meaning: declaring whether content is human-made, AI-assisted, or AI-generated.

Sign your content
Once your TIP-ID is set up, every piece of content you publish can carry an Origin Code: OH (Original Human), AA (AI-Assisted), or AG (AI-Generated). The signature is bound to the file, the URL, and the moment it was made.
