Leonard Amo-Kodieh is a Go-to-Market Intern at The AI Lab and a sophomore at Harvard University, where he studies Computer Science and Economics.
Before joining The AI Lab, he was a Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellow at Harvard's Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, one of a small cohort that tested AI-based course assignments with faculty before they reached students. He evaluated LLM-powered assignments in coding, natural language processing and data analysis for correctness and usability, documented more than 30 distinct failure modes, and worked with faculty on redesigns that keep a person in the loop. That work also feeds the Center's research on how AI is changing the way students learn. He is interested in LLM tooling and in how data can change everyday decisions.
Leonard grew up in Ghana, the son of a Ghanaian father and a Hungarian mother. He received the 2023 WAEC Excellence Award, the WAEC Distinction Award and the Augustus Bandele Oyediran Award, finishing ahead of roughly 2.3 million candidates across five countries.
