Biography

Kathleen Hom is a technology and security attorney with extensive experience in both the U.S. federal sector and private industry. She currently serves as Senior Counsel at Dell Technologies and was previously with Accenture Federal Services. Kathleen utilizes her deep expertise in AI, supply chain, security, and risk management to partner with her business and security clients and advise on complex matters. Her substantive background also includes advising the Federal Communications Commission on 5G security, managing privacy legalities at the Universal Service Administrative Company, and collaborating with Congress while at the U.S. Department of State and the Transportation Security Administration. Kathleen launched her post-law school career as a fellow for the late Civil Rights Leader and Congressman John Lewis, which followed a six-year pre-law career producing, writing, and editing for The Washington Post. Additionally, she actively serves on the American Bar Association's Cybersecurity Legal Task Force and was an Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council in Geneva.
