Anuraag Karangle

Anuraag Karangle is the EU Policy and Regulatory Affairs Lead at The AI Lab Intelligence Unobscured, Inc., where he represents the Trust Identity Protocol to regulators, institutions, standards bodies, and adoption partners across the European Union, with a particular focus on the DACH region.

Anuraag brings more than fourteen years of international experience building and leading market-entry and stakeholder strategy across the enterprise software, information security, and technology talent sectors. He has stood up and scaled operations from the ground up across the DACH region and Asia, markets where success depends on reading distinct regulatory regimes, meeting strict data-protection expectations, and steering complex, multi-party negotiations to a durable outcome. That work has given him a practical command of how rules, institutions, and commercial realities intersect inside European markets, the exact terrain the Trust Identity Protocol must hold as the EU AI Act, the Digital Services Act, and the GDPR reshape how content provenance and verified-human identity are governed.

His grounding in information security and identity-grade enterprise software maps directly to the questions European regulators and adopters are now asking about AI content disclosure, provenance, and post-quantum verified identity. At The AI Lab, Anuraag leads institutional engagement across the region: translating EU regulatory requirements into clear, actionable obligations for publishers, platforms, and Verification Providers, supporting accreditation of Verification Providers under the AI Trust Council Charter across the European jurisdiction, and building the enduring relationships that turn an open standard into trusted public infrastructure.

A recognised voice in the global talent and sourcing community, Anuraag also hosts RASPOD, an international podcast on the craft of sourcing, an experience that sharpens the cross-cultural communication and relationship-building at the centre of regional policy work. He is driven by the conviction that durable trust infrastructure is built through patient, credible engagement with the people and institutions who must adopt it.
