Dr. Khushal Sharnagat

Dr. Khushal L. Sharnagat is the Chief Scientific Advisor at The AI Lab, where he provides clinical leadership and strategic guidance to ensure the development of medically rigorous, clinically relevant, and ethically grounded AI systems. A practicing Consultant Cardiologist with extensive experience across interventional and non-invasive cardiology, Dr. Sharnagat is skilled in advanced cardiac diagnostics and procedures, including echocardiography (TTE, TEE, DSE), coronary angiography and angioplasty, cardiac CT, nuclear stress testing, cath lab interventions, and critical care cardiology. He currently serves at Platina Heart Hospital in Nagpur, India, and previously trained and practiced at leading tertiary-care centers, managing complex cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular, and congenital heart disease. Dr. Sharnagat holds an MBBS, MD in Paediatrics, DNB in Paediatrics, and DrNB in Cardiology, and is a published author in international cardiology journals with ongoing clinical research focused on early myocardial infarction detection and wearable cardiac biomarkers. At The AI Lab, he bridges frontline clinical practice with advanced AI innovation, advising on clinical validation, patient safety, real-world workflow integration, and responsible deployment of AI technologies in regulated healthcare environments.
